CRT 222 Welding Project

Welding Project
Intro
For the third project in CRT 222, we had to weld together a steel stool to go onto our CaRT.

To be perfectly honest, welding scares me.  It did before I started the project, during the project, and even now when I'm finished.  However, I tried to overcome this fear every time I picked up the welder.  My welds were not the best considering I am still a complete novice in welding, but I think this project taught me that it's possible to do anything I put my mind to.
Process
First, I had to plan the orientation of each steel tube during the welding process.  The seat would be welded first in a rectangular shape, and then the 2 feet legs would be next by standing them up on a wider side of the rectangle.  Finally, the last two tubes would be welded onto the long legs while the stool is on its side.
After that, I tack welded the tubes together using the TIG welder.
When I believed that the tubes were in the right position, I completely welded them together.
Finally, I ground down the parts of the welds that were bumpy and stuck out.
